SMM1 8: recently, Rio Tinto in western Australia's CapeLambert export wharf fire, some facilities were damaged, forced to close part of the export wharf. Verified by SMM, the source of the fire was accidental flames during cargo ship loading and unloading, which have now been dealt with. The previous Rio Tinto CapeLambert export terminal fire was early last year, and the recent Spring Festival is approaching, steel mills stock enthusiasm, unexpected news is easy to trigger market panic.

There has been no impact for the time being, and the fires in Australia have been concentrated in the east and the main mining areas in the west have not been affected. SMM will continue to track local conditions.
